Untreated wastewater filters into the Bay of Fundy.
The most depressing thing about taking this picture was that there was a small group of ducks swimming and feeding in the water...so sad.

Wolf Waits For the Light

Another shot of the amazing ice sculptures at the ATCO Centre in Whitehorse, Yukon during the Canada Winter Games. Today I found a very interesting Day-by-Day account of the creation of this sculpture here: http://www.snowcarver.ca/Past_Glories/2007_World_Tour/Whitehorse_atco/Whitehorse_atco.html

Canada Rocks

I think this was the first time that a complete stranger has ever asked me to take a picture of them. This guy and his friend we met at a bus stop in Whitehorse, while waiting for a shuttle to the athlete's village. Within 10 seconds of seeing my camera, he asked me to take his picture, which I did immediately and quite willingly...while I was taking the shot he kept saying "Canada Rocks..."

Like Trees

A photograph of the rear window of a city bus in Whitehorse, Yukon.

I've never really been one to take many portraits, but the above and below pictures were taken of two gymnasts that I coach while we were at Canada Games...I was really happy with how they came out, so decided that I would share them.

The following three pictures were taken in Whitehorse, Yukon at the ATCO Canada Winter Games Centre. All three were part of a large ice scultpure in front of the venue, which was somewhere close to 15-20 feet high...and, I might add, were completely breath-taking in their detail and sheer scale.

Taken on a shuttle bus while in Whitehorse, Yukon at the Canada Games. Guess someone was in trouble.
